Girl Guides of Saskatchewan is currently recruiting for the position of Provincial Treasurer. The Provincial Treasurer is responsible to oversee, manage, and monitor the financial affairs, including all budgeting and policy compliance of GGC monies, investments, and assets of the Provincial Council. Please note: While CPA designation is preferred for this position, it is not required.
The Camping and Outdoors Adviser inspires and supports members to explore and connect with nature, fostering a love for outdoor activities and camping experiences. They support, promote, plan and coordinate camping and outdoor activities, including adventure events and related training, for girls, youth and adult members.
The Marketing & Communications Adviser enhances the visibility, engagement and public awareness of Girl Guides of Canada (GGC) within the Provincial Council jurisdiction. Through innovative communication strategies and collaborative efforts, this role ensures that GGC’s mission, programs and events are effectively promoted to diverse audiences while upholding brand standards and fostering an inclusive, positive image of the organization. The Adviser leads marketing and communications efforts to support membership growth and strengthen community connections.
The Program Adviser supports the delivery of high-quality, inclusive and impactful programming for girls and youth within the Provincial Council’s jurisdiction. By fostering collaboration, creativity and alignment to Girl Guides of Canada’s strategic goals, the Program Adviser ensures that programming inspires and empowers all members. Additionally, the role promotes awareness of global and local issues relevant to girls, youth and women while contributing to the development of innovative program opportunities.
The SK Safe Guide Assessor reviews and assesses Safe Guide level activities to ensure the overall safety of members participating in those activities.
The SK Trip Financial Reviewer reviews and assesses the financial viability of trips (domestics and international), according to GGC fundraising policies, procedures and guidelines.
