As a member of Girl Guides of Canada, there are a number of opportunities available to you beyond the Unit Guider role. Girl Guides of Canada offers a number of membership opportunities, such as scholarships, national volunteer positions and social events with other women.
Scholarships are open to girl and adult members who are pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized college, university or trades program. Whether you’re studying engineering, education, political science, or anything in between, there’s a scholarship that is right for you!
Link is a membership activity for young women under 30. Link members participate in Guiding in whatever capacity they choose – whether that’s by connecting with Link members and meeting other young women who share a passion for Guiding, becoming a Unit Guider, or volunteering in Guiding in a way that fits their busy schedule.
Trefoil Guild is a membership activity for women over 30. In many cases, Trefoil Guild members have been members of Guiding in a variety of roles for many years and join the Trefoil Guild to keep in touch with the organization and each other. Members who are actively Guiding are invited to join a Trefoil Guild in addition to working with a unit.
